NEW BENDA DEBUT AT THE CHINA MOTORCYCLES EXPOSITION

From September 13th to 16th, Benda participated in the China International Motorcycle Trade Exposition, the largest China motorcycles exhibition aimed at a global audience. The event showcased a vibrant array of the latest international and China motorcycles and brands, with new models making their debut. Benda not only introduced the highly anticipated LFC700Pro but also unveiled the upgraded Chinchilla500 and several unreleased models, delighting Benda fans.

On the first day of the exhibition, during the media launch, our designer, Zhiyuan Wang, delivered a focused presentation on the Chinchilla Family, highlighting Benda’s relentless energy and commitment to independent research and design. He expressed our determination to share outstanding original China motorcycles with the world. Wang remarked, “The birth of the Chinchilla Family embodies the Benda spirit. Chinchilla300 debuted five years ago, featuring a V-twin water-cooled engine paired with belt drive. This combination offers strong low-end torque and smooth power delivery, while the belt drive system eliminates the mess and noise associated with oil and chain issues—an ideal match for a cruiser.”

The uncompromising spirit of innovation and exploration that has made China motorcycles from Benda beloved by fans globally, and it extends beyond technical development. We are equally committed to creativity in design. “At the very beginning, the Chinchilla’s headlight features round lights that are warm and full. Akin to the concept in calligraphy where overly complete things are like a house without windows. To break up this roundness, we added an asymmetrical logo badge to balance the visual weight of the headlight.”

As a young leader in China motorcycles, Benda also pursues a more enjoyable riding experience, a joyful philosophy that permeates our design process. “We believe the fuel tank should not be plain. Starting from the joy of riding, every part should harmonize and engage. The recessed fuel tank protector significantly enhances grip comfort. This is the pleasure of design harmony, and we believe our users will experience this joy.”

The exhibition was bustling, and outside the venue, various test ride activities allowed attendees to experience the latest China motorcycles. In the Benda test area, hundreds of enthusiasts from across the country navigated the challenging roads of this mountainous city, proudly raising our flags at the exposition. Global dealer representatives were among the first to test ride the latest Benda products, experiencing their power and excitement.

In 2020, Benda introduced Chinchilla300, marking a pivotal moment for the company and igniting a trend for sport cruisers in the domestic market. Benda’s design for Chinchilla300 perfectly balances performance and aesthetic appeal. It features a low-positioned straight handlebar and forward foot pedals that create an ideal riding triangle. Beyond its striking design, the bike is powered by a V-twin engine with twin cylinders and 8 valves, enhancing its performance.

Building on the success, Benda launched the LFC700 the following year, setting a new standard for sport cruisers, and introduced the Rock300 as an entry-level American-style retro cruiser. The LFC700 not only features a larger engine and increased power but also advances in design, earning the Red Dot Award for Motorcycle Design in 2024 and gaining a global fan base. Founded in 2016, as a young sport cruiser motorcycle supplier, Benda has aimed to become a globally recognized brand through exceptional motorcycle design. In 2017, the company established its Engine Division and set up industrial modeling design and engineering R&D offices in China and Austria.

The China team comprises 20% of the company’s R&D and design staff, operating out of a 49,000-square-meter facility. Benda Motorcycle is pleased to welcome you to Beijing and to our new product launch event. Today, we introduce a familiar face with a fresh look. Though veiled, we believe you can already feel its aura and hear its heartbeat. This is the LFC700 PRO, making its first major upgrade in six years.

The original design of the LFC700 dates back to 2017, with a finalized clay model completed in early 2018. Launching a 700cc cruiser in an era when the domestic market wasn’t ready for large-displacement motorcycles took immense courage, especially for a model developed from scratch with proprietary design and technology.

The birth of the LFC700 is a tale of radical transformation. The engine, the heart of the motorcycle, underwent significant changes. Originally equipped with a V-twin engine, the final version boasts a 700cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine, ensuring robust performance across all RPM ranges.

Aesthetic transformations also played a key role. The initial futuristic headlamp was replaced with a retro round shape, incorporating a ram-air intake to enhance engine efficiency. This innovation helps the engine achieve peak torque at 6200 RPM, combining vintage style with modern technology.

Structural changes were equally significant. The chassis was redesigned twice, from a steel tube frame to a more compact, integrated aluminum frame, improving both the bike’s rigidity and its metallic aesthetics. The rear tire was upgraded from 240 to 310mm, supporting the new aluminum frame and enhancing the bike’s overall stability and agility.

The LFC700 embodies Benda’s spirit of innovation and resilience. Despite numerous challenges, Benda refused to compromise on quality, pushing the boundaries of design and engineering. This perseverance led to the LFC700’s successful launch in 2021 and its subsequent recognition, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in Germany.

In 2024, the LFC700 PRO emerges in a sophisticated black and gold livery. It features an enhanced aluminum frame, improved radiator design, and a newly styled exhaust system, among other upgrades. The new dual-chamber air suspension system offers adjustable ride height and suspension firmness, while the B-ConnecteD smart vehicle network system integrates advanced connectivity features.

BENDA Debuted at the 135th Canton Fair

On April 15, the annual Spring Canton Fair officially carried out, which is the 135th China Import and Export Fair, opened in Guangzhou Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Canton Fair is known as „China’s first exhibition“, known as China’s foreign trade „barometer“ and „wind vane“, but also the highest level, the largest scale, and the best effect of the transaction of the domestic integrated. It is also the highest level, largest, and most effective comprehensive international trade event in China, and has long attracted the widespread attention of many domestic and foreign enterprises and businessmen.

BENDA brand, aiming to provide innovative riding experiences for New Gen, this time with many exported two-wheelers and four-wheelers, once again appeared in the Canton Fair. At the scene, these models on display attracted the attention of many foreign friends. Since the exhibition started on April 15, all kinds of products of BENDA once again set off the purchasing craze of motorcycles from domestic and foreign merchants, and the stories and highlights behind these products, also let us see a different BENDA.

Since its initial operation in 2016, BENDA has regarded the level of industrial design of products as one of the core competitiveness of the brand, which originates from the designers‘ team’s prejudgement and grasp of the aesthetic trend, and the unstinting investment in resources. In addition to the domestic R&D center, the international R&D team in Europe also provides continuous support. This kind of industrial design aesthetics, which is comparable to the world, is highly appreciated and recognized by users and is also an important reason for the continuous growth of BENDA’s market share.

For example, the export model Napoleon 500, its unique design attracted the vast majority of the audience. Its scabbard-style front fork and quite a sense of science fiction suspended single seat, all for this motorcycle have brought great charm.

In the DarkFlag 500, we can see another kind of futuristic aesthetic belonging to the cruiser. The DarkFlag 500 uses a self-developed V4 engine, which is also the first mass-produced V4 power made in China. In terms of product application, the DarkFlag 500 is one of the most technologically advanced motorcycles of BENDA so far, with automotive-grade electronic air suspension, millisecond electronic throttle, cruise control, idle shutdown technology, and so on, all of which make it very playable.

Design, power, and technology merge and coexist in the DarkFlag 500. It’s no exaggeration to say that the DarkFlag 500 is a comprehensive expression of BENDA’s global vision of an aesthetically pleasing brand for mobility and represents a quantum leap in product power in the industry.

BENDA’s ATVs & UTVs utilize a very futuristic family form design language. They feature clean lines and high-strength chrome molybdenum steel and forged aluminum. Every visible exterior part and invisible structural part of the product is distinctive as if it were a technological product from another planet.

In addition, BENDA’s configuration of ATVs & UTVs is no less than that of the products of other international brands. Automotive-grade matrix light clusters, aviation leveling switches, variable-size handlebars, effective thermal management systems, three-mode electric power steering, and so on, all of them are showing their strong charm.

In terms of ATVs & UTVs styling and craftsmanship, BENDA has once again proved its industrial design aesthetics to be on par with global industrial design aesthetics.

As an industrialized technical product, powersport brands have unique technical barriers, the biggest of which is the ability and level of power research and development, which, to some extent, even determines the upper limit of the market that the brand can reach. The products exhibited in this exhibition all use BENDA’s self-developed power platform.

BENDA has been adhering to the independent research and development of the power core. To this day, it has various fuel power platforms ranging from the entry-level small-displacement to the public upgraded inline two-cylinder, inline four-cylinder, V-twin, V-four, and so on.
